Entitlements and limits are as shown in the product, pricing page, or Order Form.

4. AI limitations

AI and automated analyses may be incomplete, inaccurate, uncertain, delayed, or wrongly interpreted. Evidentum may label information as Known, Likely, Action, or Unable to determine. AI output is an investigative aid only—not a factual determination, legal conclusion, identification, or guarantee of accuracy. Customer owns decisions made using the Services.

5. No facial recognition / identity claims

Evidentum is not a facial-recognition or biometric-identification product. It does not promise identification of individuals, biometric ID, determination of intent or guilt, or prediction of future crime. Cross-camera relationships are observational/probabilistic and may not be the same person.

6. Cameras, monitoring, and audio

Customer represents it has legal rights to operate cameras, record/process footage, and connect systems to Evidentum, and is solely responsible for signage, consent, employee-monitoring and audio-recording laws, and local surveillance rules. Unless we expressly enable documented audio features, Evidentum’s detection/AI pipelines are designed to process video frames, not audio.

7. Data ownership and AI training

Customer owns Customer Data (including camera-derived content, incidents, cases, evidence, and notes). Evidentum receives a limited license to host and process that data to provide, secure, and support the Services. By default, Evidentum does not use Customer video or case content to train general-purpose AI models. Evidentum retains IP in its software, product, and branding.

8. Subprocessors and third-party AI

We use infrastructure and vendors listed at /subprocessors. AI Features may send text prompts and investigative metadata to third-party AI providers. Current product paths are designed not to send raw video files to those providers.

9. Billing, plans, and limits

Paid plans are billed via Stripe (cards stored by Stripe). Protect, Investigate, Operations, and Enterprise entitlements and limits appear on pricing / in-product / Order Forms—not as fixed prices in these Terms. Cancel and payment methods are managed via the Customer Portal per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
